Members of the Board of Directors

Martin Kötje

He has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2010. Before that he was in different sales management roles at international and stock exchange companies. Purchasing management, as well as optimising financing structure, were both aspects of his role in equal measure, in addition to numerous company acquisitions and their corporate integration. The initial years of his professional experience spanning 20 years in total were gained in various positions in auditing and business evaluation at Arthur Andersen, and Ernst & Young in Hamburg.

Mr. Kötje studied business economics at the University of Applied Sciences in Munich and received an MBA, as well as completing various international management programmes, among others at HEC Paris.

Dr Jan Scheffler

He has been the founding director of Delfactis AG since 2008. Dr Scheffler was previously entrusted as a Managing Director in medium-sized production companies (metal and plastics industry) with restructuring and reorientation assignments and was responsible for the finance and sales department. He began his professional career at The Boston Consulting Group, an international consulting firm, where he implemented numerous strategic and restructuring projects in industrial and service industries over the course of 10 years.

Dr Scheffler studied at and graduated from the University of St. Gallen (Switzerland). He wrote his thesis on the reporting procedure for risk management at banks (hedge accounting).
